Welcome to the STI 2014 Conference Website

The 2014 STI conference will be held 3-5 September 2014 in Leiden, The Netherlands in collaboration with the European Network of Indicator Developers (ENID). Therefore, it is recently also referred to as the STI-ENID conference. This edition will focus on the social science of STI indicators, the context in which indicators function, and the increased availability of data for indicators.

We specifically invite submissions of research on the following topics:

  • New and advanced indicators on measuring science in all its dimensions (including altmetrics)
  • Theoretical foundations for measuring research in social science and in information science & Science policy studies

The STI 2014 conference is organized under the auspice of the European Network of Indicator Designers (ENID) and hosted by the Centre for Science and Technology Studies (CWTS), Leiden University.
